Zachary Volpicelli ~ Boston MA
Howdy, Im the keeper and maintainer of this ever increasing list of miscreants.
Here's a little history about me and why I'm here...
i first started riding on a 1980 Yamaha SR500. Totally weirdo single. A very interesting riding experience. (LOTS of vibration) It belonged to a friend of mine in college. I came back to school after summer break and there it was. My buddy asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin. I said sure. Had never been on a motorcycle ever in my life. Sat on it scoped out the controls, and off I went. There was no learning curve whatsoever. It was meant to be. I had to have my own. For awhile I had an 81 CB650. Nice and smooth, but also kind of vanilla. I wanted something spicier. After graduation (1994) My girlfriend and I moved to Bar Harbor ME. The time was right. Nice curvy roads, mountains, ocean, The planets were in alignment. I bought a 1982 V45 Magna $600 US +2 helmets. I knew then there was no going back.
Now I have two.
Grew up in NYC now live in Boston.

Tony Donisi ~ Goffstown NH (sometimes)
I've been riding streetbikes since I was 16YO. My first bike was a Suzuki 250 2
stroke, which I rode into the ground. I then moved up to a Yamaha 550 Maxim. I
always liked the look & feel of a cruiser style bike, but I felt there was a lot
of compromise in high tech and performance. While I still had the Maxim in the
mid 80's, a friend came by with a V65 Magna, and I was instantly smitten. In
looking his bike over (as only I can do) I noticed all the great features that I
wanted; shaft drive, water cooled, triple discs, etc. The thing even had an
electric fuel pump and two gas tanks! My high tech glands were in an uproar! I
finally bought one in 1991, and have put over 120,000 miles on two V65's since
then. In the years I've been riding the Magna I've taken it cross country and
to Florida numerous times. In 1996 I even rode it up to Goose Bay Canada, on
the cross Labrador mudway, "the Road From Hell."
The first bike got killed in 1995 when the front end failed on the highway.
The next one got mangled just this year (September, 1997) by a careless blonde
bimbo cage driver. Of course, I couldn't be without one for long, so I
purchased Michael Walt's "Perfect Magna" in October '97. I've recently been
dubbed "He who goes through Magnas like Kleenex" since I've got quite the
collection of wrecked bikes now.
I'm also addicted to c-c-co-chrome, and I have put plenty of it on the Magna!

Malcolm Lorente ~ Hopkinton MA
Had a bike in the Air Force in South Carolina. Rode the Triumph 500C, 1968
for around 22,000 miles. Sold it when I left and regretted it ever since, not
that it was such a great bike but it was A bike. "One of these days I'm gonna
buy me another bike." Well, in May of 96, after I was "downsized" I decided
it was time for some FUN in my life. (Had a lot of pleasure, wife, daughter,
nice house etc... but no Laugh-Out- Loud FUN!) Bought Maggie Mae after seeing
her for the first time. Only looked at one bike, didn't need to look at two.
I know no one else can see her do it but she winks her headlight at me when I
walk up to her. She is a sweetheart, looks pretty and rides like the wind. I
keep a picture of her in my wallet at all times.
